Freedom City Ministries offers residential discipleship training for men who have a desire to follow Jesus Christ. We strive to provide quality discipleship training in the form of “structured accountability.” We believe by doing so it will help residents to become more productive citizens and effective disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
As stated in Hebrews 10:25, “…not forsaking the assembling of yourselves together…” we believe being in a Holy Ghost environment, as well as fellowship and encouragement from the Body of Christ, promotes spiritual growth. This is the main thrust of this program. Each man is mentored and taught the foundation for living a God-honoring life. Men are taught to be Godly leaders in their homes and how to care for their families. They are taught the importance of restoring broken relationships with their children and family. Through partnerships with the Abba House Restoration Ministry (AHRM), Chillicothe POST and Turning Point Church, each man is given the opportunity to serve in the community, at church, and at Freedom City Ministries. They build lasting relationships that help them to develop Godly character, life skills, and accountability. Relationships may continue long after they graduate. You will be be required to work, save your money, tithe, address legal matters, complete chores and adhere to meeting schedule as outlined in the handbook. It is truly a season that will change the rest of their life. We welcome men from every demographic to deepen their relationship with God through our 12-month residential program.
